In 1993 I bought my first IBM-compatible PC, a 386DX with 4 MB main memory! Main reason: I had played “Wolfenstein 3D” and “Alone in the Dark” at a friend’s place… I had to have a superduper machine like that!
And I discovered the fantastic world of MOD trackers (which I already knew from the Amiga). That was something different than with the old MSX! Samples, samples, samples! And it had to be fast! And hard! And rattling beats! YEAH!
